Android EngineerBCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Android Engineer Job for an opportunity in Redmond, WA Location!Position Title: Android EngineerLocation: Redmond, WAAnticipated Start Date: November 8Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. Expected Duration: 6+ months Contract (with possibility of extension or conversion)Job Type: Contract, 40 HRS WEEKLY, OnsitePay Range: $61/hr - $71.42/hrPlease note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).Requirements:

• Android, Kotlin and JavaJob Description:
  • (Native Android using Kotlin)
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
  • Experience leading the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
  • Experience in professional, non-internship software development
  • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
  • Android mobile application development experience in Kotlin and Java Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
  • Experience with Reactive programming frameworks
  • Experience optimizing apps for performance
  • Experience writing testable code and automated tests
  • Experience with deployments to the Play Store
