Position:Field Applications EngineerJob Description:As a Field Applications Engineer at Arrow Electronics, you will play a crucial role in assisting our customers in selecting and integrating electronic components and solutions from our extensive line card. As a trusted advisor, you will utilize your technical expertise to provide guidance and support to ensure the success of both our customers and suppliers.What You Will Be Doing

• Drive demand creation by maximizing Arrow content on designs, understanding customer needs, and leveraging engineering and design services resources.
• Accelerate customer's time to market by providing technical support as well as leveraging both internal and supplier support escalation paths.
• Partner with customers to gain a thorough understanding of their design requirements at both system and component levels.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations to customers.
• Manage top opportunities and opportunity funnel for assigned suppliers.
• Attend supplier trainings to stay up to date on technologies and market needs.
• Train the local sales team in new products and assist in marketing efforts.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers, managing expectations and keeping stakeholders informed on progress.
• Actively participate in strategic branch meetings and quarterly business reviews, developing and driving strategic technical plans.
• Help plan and organize engineering customer events and seminars.
• This job profile requires the assignment and participation in a sales compensation plan. A portion of On-Target Earnings will be variable and tied to specific sales-related goals as set forth by Arrow.What We Are Looking For
  • Requires in-depth knowledge and experience in embedded design.
  • Must be able to quickly build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

  • Meets with customers both on-site and virtually.

  • Provides technical guidance and assistance to Arrow field sales staff.Experience / Education
    • Typically requires 5+ years of electronic design experience with a bachelor's degree in engineering; or 3 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent work experience.
    • A minimum of 2 years' experience with FPGA design
    • Mixed-signal and embedded design experience.
    • System experience is a plus
    • Interest/experience in AI
