Position:Field Applications EngineerJob Description:As a Field
Applications Engineer at Arrow Electronics, you will play a crucial
role in assisting our customers in selecting and integrating
electronic components and solutions from our extensive line card.
As a trusted advisor, you will utilize your technical expertise to
provide guidance and support to ensure the success of both our
customers and suppliers.What You Will Be Doing
- Drive demand creation by maximizing Arrow content on designs,
understanding customer needs, and leveraging engineering and design
services resources.
- Accelerate customer's time to market by providing technical
support as well as leveraging both internal and supplier support
escalation paths.
- Partner with customers to gain a thorough understanding of
their design requirements at both system and component levels.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to customers.
- Manage top opportunities and opportunity funnel for assigned
suppliers.
- Attend supplier trainings to stay up to date on technologies
and market needs.
- Train the local sales team in new products and assist in
marketing efforts.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers,
managing expectations and keeping stakeholders informed on
progress.
- Actively participate in strategic branch meetings and quarterly
business reviews, developing and driving strategic technical
plans.
- Help plan and organize engineering customer events and
seminars.
- This job profile requires the assignment and participation in a
sales compensation plan. A portion of On-Target Earnings will be
variable and tied to specific sales-related goals as set forth by
Arrow.What We Are Looking For
- Requires in-depth knowledge and experience in embedded
design.
- Must be able to quickly build strong relationships with
customers and suppliers.
- Possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Meets with customers both on-site and virtually.
- Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing
solutions.
- Works independently; receives minimal guidance.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
- Contributes to process improvements.
- Typically resolves problems using existing solutions.
- Provides technical guidance and assistance to Arrow field sales
staff.Experience / Education
- Typically requires 5+ years of electronic design experience
with a bachelor's degree in engineering; or 3 years and an advanced
degree; or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience with FPGA design
- Mixed-signal and embedded design experience.
- System experience is a plus
- Interest/experience in AI
- Experience in C-programming and/or Embedded Linux and /or
Real-Time Operating is a plusWork Arrangement: Hybrid 1 day in

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:$84,300.00 - $150,700.00Actual
compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range
based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or
skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive
(if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
Location:US-WA-Washington (Remote Employees)Remote work employees
may be required to be present at the closest designated Arrow
office for work-related purposes, at the Company's request and sole
