Job Description:
A company is looking for a Utilization Management RN to ensure
health services are administered efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct utilization management, including inpatient review for
level of care and length of stay
Perform prior authorization reviews for skilled nursing facilities
and acute inpatient rehabilitation
Evaluate medical appropriateness of care levels based on medical
guidelines and benefit determinations
Required Qualifications
Unrestricted compact RN licensure in the state of residence
3+ years of Managed Care and/or clinical experience
Basic computer skills with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
Willingness to work 8am to 5pm in the Pacific Time Zone and every
other weekend
