Research Scientist, Senior (Ben Towne Center: Olson Lab)The
Research Scientist-Senior leads the development of research lab
projects, plans and executes laboratory research, and serves as a
key leader in assigned scientific discipline. Along with the
Principal Investigator, seeks independent outside research funding
and participates in major proposals and presentations. As an
individual contributor, carries out complex or novel assignments
requiring the development of new or improved research techniques
and procedures. In a supervisory capacity, plans, develops,
coordinates, and directs a variety of projects that may require the
use of sophisticated project planning techniques. Demonstrates
expert-level knowledge in a variety of concepts, practices and
scientific area of study.Required Education and Experience
- PhD or M.D. in Molecular or Cellular Biology, Biochemistry, or
other closely related field.
- Minimum of six (6) years research lab experience in field of
specialization.
- Prior experience with laboratory management.Required

Range$60.96 - $91.44 per hourSalary InformationThis compensation
range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours
worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple
factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and
