  • Job Summary: Nursing position in Med/Surg/Tele unit at St Elizabeth Hospital.
  • Unit Details: 23 beds (19 med-surg, 4 PCU/ICU).
  • Patient Ratios: Med-Surg Team Nursing Model would be 1 RN, 1 LPN, 1 CNA for 9-10 patients. PCU is 1 RN for 3-4 patients. ICU 1:1 or 1:2 patients.
    • Job Requirements
    • Required certifications: BLS, PALS (facility will assist with PALS class).
    • Experience or 'Must have' skills: BLS.
      • Schedule Information
      • Day shift: 6am-6:30pm
      • Night shift: 6pm-6:30am
      • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend. Nights: Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Days: Saturday, Sunday.
      • Holiday Requirement: Rotate with permanent staff.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Acute Care may admit patients ages 4 years old and up. ED cares for patients of all ages.
        • General Medical-Telemetry: Pediatric GI patients, Heart Failure, Pneumonia.
        • General Surgical: Knee/Hip Replacements, GI Surgeries, Hysterectomies.
        • Critical Care: Severe Sepsis, DKA, Alcohol Withdrawal.
        • Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Charge Nurse and/or Hospital Resource Nurse (HRN) on every shift.
          • Additional Details
          • Medical Solutions auto deducts the 1.75 WA state tax - you are able to re-add that back in.
          • Additional $20 hours when floated within Region II that's not the primary facility.
          • Critical Access Hospital.
