Job Description:

Prepares food for cold case, fresh pack, salad, and hot bars according to production sheets and recipes. Ensures quality, consistency, and presentation. Maintains a clean and sanitary environment, replenishes stock, and follows established procedures.

• Prepares food items according to production sheets.
• Prepares food items according to recipe.
• Lables, dates, covers, monitors and rotates prepared items.
• Monitors food levels and replenishes in a timely manner.
• Arrives on time, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service.
• Maximizes sales potential through effective procedures.
• Follows procedures for health and sanitation, safe work practices, and equipment maintenance.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment.
• Immediately reports safety hazards and violations.

  • Passion for natural foods and the mission of Whole Foods Market.6-12 months retail experience. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Standing/walking 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day. Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals and temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
