Software Engineer – Web Content Management Team
For this team we are looking for strong C# engineers that are passionate about working with both client and server side technologies that surround Content Management. Our eCommerce department is hiring a handful of developers and this team is targeting someone to work with in an almost 50/50 client/server side development environment. We are targeting a collaborative individual who understand integration of custom code/extension into vendor products. Sounds like you? Keep reading!
 
As a software development engineer we expect that you are awesome at the following…
• Have a passion for writing great code and making sure it is of high quality
• Know deeply and understand the best practices for software development
• Have a passion to ship software and complete tasks
 
Qualifications
• Strong understanding and experience with software design and architecture patterns
• Experienced designing distributed, service oriented solutions, specifically  web services (WebAPI, WCF)
• Practical experience with client-side technologies and frameworks such as HTML5, JavaScript (JQuery, NodeJS, or AngularJS), and MVC.Net
• A solid grounding in fundamental concepts like data structures, algorithms, complexity analysis and secure coding practices – previous programming experience is preferred (C#, Java or any other object oriented language)
• Demonstrated ability to be a team player as well as an independent contributor on the assigned team, striving to reach highest standards of software engineering every day
• Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) and an ability to communicate with internal and external customers at all levels, including management/non-technical audiences
• Understanding of caching
• Experience with Content Management is a plus.
• Experience with Akamai or other CDN a plus.
