• Work closely with our line of business and architects to provide implementation solutions to protect various software applications in the bank.
• Create a prototype to prove the design and document the current state of the application in terms of these parameters, also describing the future state.
• Be involved in every release, every project, and all phases of development, ensuring that the application suite's interests are adequately addressed.
• Supervise and develop software to ensure delivery of initiatives for specific applications or application groups, resulting in stable, quality deliverables.
• Develop, enhance, test, support, maintain, and debug software applications that support business units or support functions.
• Provide strategic technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of technological alternatives and business system requirements to recommend innovations.
• Lead or have responsibility for estimation of effort for software applications for one or more programmers.
• Coordinate collaboration with external programming teams to deliver software on time and within budget.
• Provide feedback and technical guidance to project managers on critical issues.
• Be recognized as a content expert by peers.Required Skills
• Primary Skill - J2EE
• Secondary Skill - Soap/Rest Webservices
• Tertiary Skill - Oracle SQL/PL
• Over 6+ years of hands-on experience developing mission-critical, large-scale, high-volume enterprise & distributed applications using Java/J2EE.
• Strong understanding of OO design and programming skills with Java, including knowledge of J2EE application servers.
• Strong experience in Java development of RESTful Services using the Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and SOAP Webservices.
• Experience with Oracle Stored Procedures and designing tables.
• Experience with Apache Kafka for online data publishing and consuming.
• Experience in Junit Test case development, Performance Testing, Optimization, and Code analysis.
• Experience using Relational Oracle SQL/PLSQL and No SQL distributed Cassandra DB Technologies.
• Strong experience using Development tools like Eclipse/IntelliJ IDE's, Maven, GIT, Bit Bucket, CI/CD pipelines, Splunk, and SOAP UI.
• Experience in building high-volume, scalable, available & distributed Technologies.
• Experience with standard development design patterns of Creational, Behavioral & JEE.
• Experience handling cross-functional issues by coordinating with distributed development teams.
• Familiarity with development models such as Agile and SDLC, as well as knowledge of test-driven development.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a constantly changing environment to meet release deliverables.Preferred Skills
• AI and Machine Learning experience.
