Support diverse projects under client Delivery Experience and Customer Shipment Tracking and Control, such as deployment launches in international markets.



Job Summary:

We are seeking a Software Development Engineer II (SDE II) to join our team, supporting key initiatives under the Delivery Experience and Customer Shipment Tracking and Control domain. This role will play a crucial part in developing, enhancing, and deploying systems that improve the global delivery experience for customers, including launching deployment projects in international markets. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience, particularly in Java and Spring Boot, along with AWS expertise and experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) in an eCommerce environment.



Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend systems that support customer shipment tracking, order fulfillment, and delivery experience enhancements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Data Engineers, and UX Designers to define and implement new features.
Ensure system reliability and performance by writing efficient, testable, and scalable code using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS services.
Support international deployment launches, adapting existing systems to meet global customer needs and compliance requirements.
Optimize and enhance existing APIs to improve efficiency, scalability, and customer experience.
Implement best practices in software development, including continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), automated testing, and cloud-based solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as part of an on-call rotation, ensuring high system availability and uptime.



Required Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years of hands-on software development experience in Java and Spring Boot (highly preferred).
Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS, etc.).
Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and microservices design patterns.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, event-driven architectures, and messaging systems (Kafka, SNS/SQS, etc.).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and Kubernetes for cloud deployment.



Pay Transparency:

The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $42.00 - $45.00 per hour. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, 10 paid days off, 401(k) plan participation, commuter benefits and life and disability insurance.
