Job Description:
A company is looking for a Funding Specialist responsible for
preparing and submitting funding requests for claims incurred by
covered members of the group health plan.
Key Responsibilities
Communicate with other departments to resolve claim and funding
issues
Process claims payments and release appropriate payments to
providers
Monitor and record financial transactions and approvals from
clients
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
1-2 years' experience in a financial-based role
Intermediate level experience with MS Office Suite, particularly
Excel
MS Access background preferred
Prior experience in healthcare preferred
