Job Description:
A company is looking for a Coordinator, P2P Appeals to support
financial performance improvement in healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and conduct Peer to Peer calls with payers
Document call information and update account status in multiple
databases
Provide support for case entry, Peer to Peer, and appeals
functions
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree
preferred
Call center experience preferred
Understanding of denials processes for Medicare, Medicaid, and
Commercial/Managed Care product lines is a plus
Prior experience accessing hospital EMRs and Payer Portals
preferred
Proficient in MS Word and Excel, with keyboard skills of at least
30wpm
